Reggae in the Square

Downtown Wilmington is the place to be for all music styles. We've seen Rock, Jazz, Blues, Hip-Hop, Rockabily, Folk, and dozens of other great musical styles played throughout our downtown.

This Saturday, July 11, some talented Reggae artists will be performing on Rodney Square - we'll get to hear from artists like Lex A Million, Maine Gwap, Shane Koosong, and Jah Torius.

The concert is free and open to the public.

I hope to see you there!

A Great Evening in the Plaza

What a great evening!

The Summer in the Plaza event at H.B. DuPont Plaza on Thursday night was truly incredible. There was live music, food trucks, games, and people of all ages coming together for a great time!

But don't just take my word for it, check out the collection of photos from people like Ivan Thomas with DeTV.

I hope you can come out to our next Summer in the Plaza event on August 6.

Summer in the Plaza on July 2

This year's concerts, block parties, and festivals are a real success as more and more people are coming out to discover great food, drink, music, and engage with neighbors, co-workers, and friends in Downtown Wilmington.

On Thursday, July 2, I invite you to come out to H.B. DuPont Park for the next Summer in the Plaza event featuring the music of Richard Raw with live painting by Terrance Vann and Alim Smith. There will be great food available at the food trucks and we're expecting a great crowd!

I hope to see you there!
