Celebrating Earth Day and Arbor Day Downtown

This Wednesday,  the City of Wilmington will partner with the Delaware Center for Horticulture, the Delaware Forest Service, the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary, Kerns Brothers and Davey Tree Expert Company to celebrate Earth Day and Arbor Day in Rodney Square.

This is a great way for everyone who lives, works, and visits our Downtown to celebrate all that nature provides for us.

Preparing to Ignite Wilmington

I have heard truly remarkable speakers in a variety of contexts, but nothing compares to what I see happening with Ignite Wilmington.

The good people at the Archer Group brought this dynamic format to Wilmington about seven years ago - and each time this event has been held, we've seen audiences entertained and inspired.

Ignite Wilmington 7 is coming on April 29 at World Cafe Live at the Queen - I highly recommend you click here to reserve your spot for this show.

For those who aren't familiar with the format - it's simple - each presenter has 5 minutes and 20 powerpoint slides - the slides automatically advance every 15 seconds. Here's a look at some of the past presentations:
