Ideas!

What if you could hear from nine of the area's business leaders at one time?

That opportunity is coming on Wednesday morning, when the Delaware Business Times holds 90 ideas in 90 minutes, where nine business leaders will share their best practices, philosophies, and programs, all over breakfast.

Downtown Wilmington, where good ideas are discussed and good things happen.

Wilmington named one of top 5 cities for locating a coding school

It was just a couple of months ago that Wilmington was named a top city for startups, now we're in the top 5 list for locating a coding school.

Course Report is a site dedicated to offering reviews, insights, and analysis of coding bootcamps around the country. In a recent post, the site listed the five cities that should be considered for coding schools.

Here's an excerpt:

People wanting to learn to code in Wilmington can take advantage of coding bootcamp Zip Code Wilmington which opened its doors in September 2015. And national women’s coding organization Girl Develop It has a chapter in Wilmington, offering short courses and information sessions.

Downtown Wilmington - Great Place for Entrepreneurship

Our friends at technical.ly just published findings from DataFox naming Wilmington as the fifth best city for Start Ups.

Technical.ly mapped Wilmington’s innovation corridor ahead of Delaware Innovation Week.

Technical.ly mapped Wilmington’s innovation corridor ahead of Delaware Innovation Week.

Here's an excerpt:

DataFox cited the city’s “favorable tax climate combined with access to decision-makers,” in addition to new incubators and coworking spaces, a low cost of living, UD’s Horn Program in Entrepreneurship and proximity to the Northeast Corridor. It also noted availability of mentors and policymakers.

You can read the complete article here - and you can see the report from DataFox here.

I am proud of how Downtown Wilmington is home to so many great Start Ups and entrepreneurs - and I look forward to seeing more in our city in the future!
