As the downtown revitalization continues to spread off Market Street major progress continues. On October 18th residents, public officials and lovers of the arts flocked to 200 West 9th Street to celebrate the grand opening and ribbon cutting of MKT Place. As many of Wilmington's downtown buildings, a quick glance gives away that this is a historical gem and its charm is still very much intact if not exemplified. Now home to 30 one-bedroom apartments, 3 live/work units, an art gallery ran by Rodney Pratt as well as a club room and fitness center, it is no wonder before the grand opening several apartments were already leased.
