I've seen it happen many times.
A musician who has played to audiences in venues across the country will be in the middle of performing a set at World Cafe Live at the Queen when they stop, look around the theater and say something along the lines of "This place is beautiful!"
The building has a rich history and the Buccini/Pollin Group deserves a lot of credit for preserving that history while creating a truly impressive space for great music.
